COMMUNITY PROJECT ANNOUNCEMENT! We’ve been working for months to start the first annual Halloween Window Painting Day in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn. This is a longstanding tradition in my hometown (see photo proof circa 1989 and NOTE THE AWARD 🥇). It involves children ages 7-12 painting an assigned and designated window space of a local retail window on Oct 27th to help build a festive community spirit. Mason Lane will be sponsoring, supplying every child registrant with paint, brushes, and clean up gear. If you know any shopfront biz owners on Court St, LET ME KNOW! We’ve made it this far in the approval process but can’t do it without windows! Thanks IG PEEPS. #masonlaneart#community 🎃

“You have put the needs of children, families and working men and women first. Your work on behalf of the financial needs of New York City has been unparalleled. Your efforts to maintain and improve services in Brooklyn have made our community a better place…The Uniformed Sanitationmen’s Association, Local 831, International Brotherhood of Teamsters will notify the more than 6,500 active and more than 9,000 retired members of our union that we are strongly supportive of your candidacy, and we will urge them, and the members of their families, to vote for you in the upcoming election.”
– Harry Nespoli, President “I am grateful for the support of ‘New York’s Strongest.’ Our communities’ quality of life depends on Local 831 members, who work around the clock and in all types of weather to ensure that our families and neighbors live in a city that has health and safety as its top priorities. Their job isn’t easy, so Local 831 members need all the support we can provide for their benefits, for their family benefits, and for their health care. I am proud to be their champion.”

I have no idea what this building is called but it just made think that it’s the perfect place for an evil scientist hide out you know. You’re unsuspectingly minding your business and suddenly you hear and explosion and it’s the avengers fighting Arnim Zola or something
Taking pictures in Brooklyn was when I started to notice that my lens doesn’t really get along with my camera. It’s made for a full frame camera and I think I may be working my sensor too hard or I got some dead pixels
