Recently watched the Carrie remake (not pictured). It wasn’t bad, but I wish it had been better. But then I also thought about how much I was asking of what is a pretty good novel that has been flipped inside out and rammed into a high school slasher revenge film’s structure. So much of what makes the book sizzle and move is lost because the interior of the characters is gone, but that’s not the movie’s fault. It’s the function of the novel - the interior.
Found this movie browsing through the interwebs and it's getting some early praise. I love space films! Anyone heard of Prospect? 🍿
